AboutThis is a written roleplay game set in the Avatar universe. Things are set 200 years in the future. With Zuko's help, Aang would master fire bending. His training final, Aang would defeat Fire Lord Ozai while in the Avatar state. Iroh would be named Fire Lord, with Zuko named as his successor. Ozai immediately attempted a coupe with Azula by his side. Much to his surprise, the Fire Nation Military was loyal to Iroh. The coupe failed and both Ozai and Azula were banished. There has been no sight or sound of the two since.
Air benders have come back into population as Aang would get married, fathering eight children as well as taking on students. Aang's children had children and so forth and so on. When Aang finally did die, he was succeeded by waterbender Seru. Peace remained. At the current time, Seru has just died. While it's known the Earth kingdom is next in line, no one is quite sure who the next Avatar will be. There has been underground talk that the Dai Li has survived these two hundred years and that they assassinated Seru. If there is truth to the rumor, the other nations can only hope the Dai Li don't manage to corrupt the Avatar to do their bidding...
Rules
So you found the community. Awesome! So lets say you're interested in joining. Before you do that, you obviously have to know the rules.
1 - NO GOD MODDING! Those that are RPG vets know what this means. For those of you that are new, this means you can't make your character invincible, control other characters, ect... Here's a short example using Zuko as my character in a fight with Aang.
Example 1: Zuko felt the rage build inside of him. He had been humiliated by the young airbender for the last time. With a loud shout of anger, Zuko sent a large flame bursting out at Aang.
Example 2: Zuko wanted to fight Aang. He ran up and punched Aang, sending Aang flying. He beat up Aang until Aang died.
Example 3: Aang threw a punch, which Zuko dodged. Aang came flying at Zuko with a kick, but Zuko easily dodged. Aang used earthbending to drop a large boulder on Zuko. Zuko came out from under the boulder, not even hurt a little!
Number one was perfect. It focuses on my character and mine only. I threw out an attack, but it's up to Aang's handler on what happens after that. Number two is a no go. I took control of both characters and made Aang look like garbage. That's not what this game is about. Number three is also a no go. While there's nothing wrong with dodging an attack, you don't have to dodge every damn thing thrown at you. Then the boulder thing is ridiculous. Just keep this all in mind if you're new. If you're still unsure about a post you're going to make, get a hold of a staff member and they'll help you out.
2 - If you have issues with another player, either settle it on the Out of Character board or talk it out on an instant messenger. This is a game and we're here to have fun.
3 - I'll allow adult themes, but they have to be behind an lj cut with appropriate warnings before hand. If that's not followed, I'll delete the post and give a warning.
4 - Stay somewhat active. A post every two weeks isn't quite the participation I want, but I'll allow it. Any longer than that, you're character will be considered "lost" unless you contact me.
5 - OCs only. Sorry, but do you think anyone from the original series will still be alive 200 years later? I don't care if Aang survived 100 years, he was the freakin' Avatar!
6 - IC Fights are carried out and decided by the two posters. No dice, no rp judging, nothing stupid like that.
